Kelsey Maeve Gustafson,
SEP, TCTSY-F, RYT
is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator, and somatic coach with over 15 years of experience in body-based healing. She has been teaching yoga and embodiment practices since 2009 and specializes in supporting people with sensitive nervous systems, developmental trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing patterns of disconnection from the body.

Kelsey is a Certified Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F), trained in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, an evidence-based practice developed at the Trauma Center at JRI. Her work is also informed by Somatic Experiencing®, expressive arts facilitation, and depth-oriented psychology.

Her teaching emphasizes choice, pacing, nervous system regulation, and rebuilding trust with the body—moving away from pushing or performance and toward listening and attunement. She is known for creating spaces that feel steady, accessible, and supportive, where students are invited to move at their own pace.
